BARRETT SERVICES founder Aaron Barrett has association to the Kokatha and Wiringu Tribes, both found north of South Australia and incorporating Ceduna and the western side of the state. Aaron’s Grandmother, Margret Elizabeth Eve Gray (‘BETTY’) born in Point Bell, was the youngest to 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Fredrick, Betty’s Father passed away when Betty was 4 years old. At this time, Betty and her family moved to Denial Bay living in a tin shed whereher older brothers were taken to Kooniba Mission. Hartley (Betty’s Brother) ‘GUGDJARK’ Clothier (was recognised as a well-respected Aboriginal Elder, passed away in 1992) taught Aaron about the land and culture as valuing the gifts of life, water, air, fire and wind.
BARRETT SERVICES has undertaken various works including, but not limited to: Transportable Buildings and Caravans, New Houses and Rewiring Houses, Switchboard upgrades, Smoke Detectors and interconnection, Emergency and Exit lighting, etc.
BARRETT SERVICES has worked with Telstra (technicians) and Foxtel installing Cable Internet and PayTV, this experience has also lead BARRETT SERVICES to relocate phone lines for ADSL modems, install new phone lines, Internet Lines, Communications Hubs and not limiting to TV antennas and associated cabling and fittings in various customer applications.
