Founded in 1986, Casey Brown Architecture is an architectural studio based in Sydney with over 100 built projects across Australia. We are a design-led team devoted to creating contemporary architecture through an organic understanding of building. Projects range in scale and span city, country and coastal locations throughout Australia.

We design in direct response to climate, topography and lifestyle incorporating simple but effective design strategies that do not attempt to overcome or dominate nature but instead create inbuilt adaption and ongoing joy for the occupants. This perspective creates a preference for lasting architecture of unpretentious functionalism, characterised by a richness of palette and detail throughout. Known for our ability to listen to clients and along with our like-minded collaborators we strive to always do things better. We seek to solve problems and we transcend solutions to create memorable spaces.

Being a collaborative design practice we have developed over many decades strong working relationships with an experienced team of expert consultants, makers and builders. These long standing relationships ensure the team needed to procure our designs from approval to construction, work together seamlessly to achieve the client approved architectural intent with prompt and proactive advice.

This non-prescriptive approach takes each client, site and brief as something one-off and special.
