About Professional

First established in 1992 by David Watkins after he finished up with Telecom in Victor Harbor, he created a small local business and named it Victor Telephones. Fixing peoples telephone wiring, fault finding and business telephone systems along the Fleurieu Peninsula, Dave invited his son Anthony to join the business as a Trainee to learn the ropes in 1998. So Anthony gave away his career as a baker to start this new career. In the year 2000 Dave wanted to retire and offered the business to Anthony who bought it as a fully qualified technician. The name of the business has evolved to encompass the latest technological changes.

Born and raised in Victor Harbor and knows the Southern Fleurieu very well. Now based at Currency Creek central to the whole Fleurieu with easy access to every town from Kangaroo Island to Mount Barker. Local knowledge is an enormous asset to our business operations. We are very fortunate to have both sets of Grandparents living in Victor Harbor too.

It is with great sadness that we said our last goodbyes to David Watkins on Palm Sunday 2020, he has left behind a legacy of hard working Watkins men who follow in his footsteps.

As a business we choose to support other local businesses and prefer to purchase our materials from local retailers using local tradespeople as much as possible. Providing a service to our customers that is reliable, trustworthy and the best quality, knowing that we are always here.

All staff are Registered Cablers (T18486, T41445, T41442) and approved by the Government as a Digital Ready Installer, All have First Aid and CPR qualifications, Working at Heights tickets and White Cards. WHS policies can be produced on request. Anthonys Security Licence No. ISL278600.

We are a local family business comprising Anthony Watkins, wife Rebekah and son Jamie are working together to bring to your door a friendly and quality cabling service in and near the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula e.g. Victor Harbor, Encounter Bay, McCracken, Hayborough Port Elliot, Middleton, Goolwa, Hindmarsh Island, Inman Valley, Hindmarsh Valley Mt Compass, Strathalbyn, Yankalilla, Normanville, Clayton, Milang, Myponga, Finniss, Cape Jervis, Kangaroo Island and south of Adelaide, and have been operating for over 20 years now. No job is too small.
