I began Hewitt Fencing way back in 1983, but prior to that I worked as a contractor, gaining experience of all aspects of the rare trade of brush fencing.

When I started out as an apprentice in 1970, I was taught by second generation brush fencers and whose family were the people who started the trade in Adelaide in the 1940s. This means that with over 40 years in the business myself, and a heritage that extends back even further, I am confident that I am the most skilled and experienced brush fencer in South Australia.
