At JRFS, our dedicated team has been engaged in successful collaborations with talented architects and designers for over a decade. Together, we have crafted exquisite luxury homes in Sydney, offering families the perfect spaces to embrace growth, love, and celebrate all of life's cherished moments.


The Founder
Our founder James Stanistreet grew up in Sydney’s Lower North Shore. The passion for woodworking was ignited from a young age, as James spent weekends and school holidays with his grandfather in his workshop. James went on to develop his skills and passion in high school and won the woodworking prize at Shore School in 2003. After graduating Year 12, James embarked on a Gap year, working on a 1 million acre cattle station in central Queensland. Hard work was forged in his ethos. Now, as a company owner of over 10 years, husband and father, James continues his love of designing and creating quality craftsmanship through his residential building work and hobbies. He has the skill and attention to detail through his ability to create custom furniture for clients of homes he builds. James is a dedicated long-distance runner, he enjoys baking sourdough bread, brewing beer and has played guitar from a young age, often performing at weddings and special events.

James values the client/builder relationship and through his years of experience, understands the importance of developing trust with clients. He is a genuine and hard-working builder, who has positive relationships with architects, interior designers and tradespeople. James is forward-thinking and utilises technology to ensure effective and efficient processes, ensuring high quality and accuracy as well as transparent/clear communication with clients.

The Business
Our business is built on a foundation of highly skilled professionals who excel in their respective roles, spanning from sales and estimating in the office to on-site management of trades and hands-on construction work. James, our project manager, holds a central position within the company, enabling him to maintain a comprehensive overview of our operations at all times.

3D Modeling - Our project manager utilizes Sketchup to create computer-based 3D models for all our project structures. This approach has consistently proven its effectiveness in identifying design issues that arise when working on existing homes. By visually solving these issues alongside architects and owners before construction begins, we can avoid costly fixes down the line. Our clients greatly appreciate having access to these realistic visual models, as they enable informed decision-making throughout the process.
