Pivot is a multi-disciplinary design studio with a specialisation in urban residential spaces. With a specific focus on contemporary approaches to design, Pivot operates as an ideas focused studio on various project types including house renovations and additions, new house buildings, and general architectural documentation and visualisation.Services range from simple design concepts, development application and construction tender drawings, to all-inclusive design and construction management – from conception to completion.

PRINCIPAL – Damien Abicic
Graduated with a Master of Architecture / Bachelor of Architecture-Arts from the University of Technology Sydney and holds an Advanced Diploma of Interior Design from Sydney Institute of Technology and a Certificate 4 in Building and Construction. Damien has international experience working with Skidmore Owings Merrill in London and Spazio Design in Milan. Local experience ranges from various high profile architectural and building offices. He has extensive knowledge and experience in high end computational processes in design and construction and a strong interest in architectural theory and history. Pivot has been active since 2004 with Damien directly managing all aspects of all projects from design, documentation and construction.
