Hi, My name is Wayne Bill

I established “Waynes Design & Drafting” as a home office business in 2005.

Prior to this I attended Leederville Central TAFE where in 1999 I completed Certificate III in Drafters Assistant (Civil & Structural). I then went on to study Building Design & Drafting between 1999 - 2001. I now also hold Certificate IV in Residential Drafting (also from Central TAFE).

Following the completion of my studies in 2001 I spent 2 years employed as a Draftsman with Cottage & Engineering Surveys in Shenton Park, Western Australia. I specialised in drafting Boundary Re-pegs (Cadastral Surveys) and Contour & Feature Surveys.

In 2003 I began thinking about developing my career in the direction of designing homes, and so I took up a position with Scott Park Homes in Balcatta, Western Australia. This is where I began to apply the practical skills learned earlier at TAFE, by producing working drawings of single storey homes. In 2005 after two years drafting project homes for Scott Park Homes, I felt ready to begin my own business back in my home town of Merredin in Western Australia. In what seemed a short space of time, I had Waynes Design and Drafting up and running smoothly, and my client base was beginning to build, and it continues to grow today.

Waynes Design and Drafting is based in Merredin in Western Australia, and I provide drafting and design services to local builders and individuals, as well as to clients throughout Western Australia.
